Sher-Wood:  Established in 1949 under the name Sherbrooke Woodcraft Ltd., this family business has remained a solid hockey equipment manufacturer for over half a century.  In 1969, a major fire destroyed nearly the entirely company, but it managed to rebuild and grow, becoming the biggest manufacturer of wooden hockey sticks in the world.  Though specializing in wooden sticks, Sher-Wood now offers various one-piece composite sticks, including the Momentum and Axion lines.  As a manufacturer, Sher-Wood continues to strive to produce “the most diversified array of products in the industry.”
